SUSPECT MOTOR FAILURE (SMF) - THE (WORLDS FIRST) ULTIMATE REALISM OVERHAUL [FOR LSPD:FR]
Tired of suspects driving like tanks after a 100mph head-on collision. Suspect Motor Failure brings realistic damage consequences to your pursuits. No more "immortal" AI engines - if they crash hard, their car dies.
--- KEY FEATURES ---
Dynamic Engine Death: When a vehicle's body is significantly deformed (e.g., after a successful PIT maneuver) or the engine is hit, the motor will fail, stall, and begin to smoke or burn.
AI Logic: Once the vehicle is disabled, AI drivers realize the car is useless and will exit the vehicle at safe speeds, creating seamless transitions to foot chases.
Dual Threshold System: Separate health checks for Engine and Body deformation to ensure maximum realism.
Performance Optimized: Uses a 500ms check interval and HashSet tracking to ensure ZERO impact on your FPS, even during heavy police chases.
Player Protection: The script intelligently ignores the player's vehicle. You can ram suspects without fear of your own engine dying.
--- CUSTOMIZATION (.INI) ---
This version comes with a dedicated SuspectMotorFailure.ini file. You can easily adjust:
Scan Radius
Engine & Body Health Thresholds
Chance of the engine catching fire (70/30 Smoke/Fire logic)
Safe exit speed for AI
--- COMPATIBILITY ---
LSPDFR: Fully compatible.
Damage Mods (DriveV / RVD): Works perfectly. Note: If using "Realistic Vehicle Damage", it is recommended to let SMF handle the failure logic.
--- REQUIREMENTS ---
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet v3.7.0...
--- INSTALLATION ---
Drag and drop SuspectMotorFailure.dll and SuspectMotorFailure.ini into your /scripts/ folder.
Adjust the .ini file to your liking.
--- CHANGELOG ---
v3.5.1 (Stable Hotfix):
Fixed Versioning Conflict: Simplified filenames to SuspectMotorFailure.dll and SuspectMotorFailure.ini. This prevents issues where old versions (like v3.4) were still running alongside the new ones.
Engine Fire Removed: Based on community feedback, suspects' engines will now only smoke and stall instead of catching fire (Health set to -0.1).
Performance Optimization: Improved the script's internal timing (Interval set to 500ms) to reduce CPU usage.
Code Cleanup: Removed all unnecessary "EnableFire" and "FireChance" logic for a more stable experience.
Configuration: The script now consistently loads settings from the same .ini file, even after future updates.

This is great, just need one where if you ram cops really hard, they die too like any npc, lol.
is it compatible with Vehicle Explosion & Damage Control ?
@gti92 you can try it, but I can't guarrantee
