Critical Post-Installation Steps
After running this patcher, it is very important that you DO NOT take the following actions:
• Do NOT install the original OpenIV.asi or other files from the OpenIV ASI Manager. This patcher provides the necessary files for compatibility. Installing the original files will break the fix.
• Do NOT delete the created GTA5.exe or the blank OpenIV.asi file. The blank OpenIV.asi acts as a "bait" file that tricks OpenIV into enabling the installation of .oiv packages into the 'mods' folder. The game itself does not see or react to this blank file. The duplicate GTA5.exe is required for OpenIV to detect the game.
• Do NOT install GTA 5 Legacy mods, including .oiv files, into GTA 5 Enhanced.

One more thing, do not install anything from OpenIV ASI Manager, it's not compatible with GTA 5 Enhanced and never will, ignore the message about it while using OpenIV

@dochang1160 only install mods that are ported to Enhanced. Do not install Legacy .oiv into Enhanced

Hello there. I don't quite mod my game, just need to access some of GTA's models and textures for personal use. Currently I have a copy of original GTAV for this purpose as well as GTAVEE to play GTAO with my friends and enjoy all of the good staff EE provides. My question is, will this fix apply to my situation, letting me check and export GTA EE's files or models while also letting me freely play GTAO, without a need to dedicate some another 130 GB of my drive space to original game? As said before, I'm not going to install any additional modifications to the game, just need to access the files.

It might be corrupted or you don't have permission to write to it.' error, you need to have the GTA V Legacy edition installed. Then, ensure you've opened OpenIV and guided it to your GTA V Legacy install folder at least once. After that the script will succeed
When opening opeviv folders and Update/update.rpf files. I do what I need to do there without any problems. But then the game just won't start. Somehow the archives are corrupted without any errors. Some kind of magic. I return the entire Update folder and the game works again. What is it?
