This mod aims to replicate a modern M4A1 Carbine, handguard and stock are made from scratch.

INSTALLATION:
Installation Replace:
Use OpenIV to reach; common.rpf/common/data/ai, open weapons.meta and replace the corresponding lines with mine:

COMPONENT_AT_SCOPE_SMALL instead of MEDIUM
finally, reach: update/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf and replace the game's ydrs and ytds with mine
For Addon:
Use OpenIV to reach: X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data
Activate edit mode, right click on "dlclist.xml" then click on edit and add on the last dlc dlcpacks:/militarycarbine/ then save.
After that drag and drop "militarycarbine" inside X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks
SPAWN NAME: WEAPON_MILITARYCARBINE

@TheRaf3D1 Good news for your mod, I have been able to solve the issue of the scope and flashlight not appearing by doing the following steps:
1. Replace the scope offset with:

2. Go to "<FirstPersonScopeAttachmentData>" and add the following lines underneath "COMPONENT_AT_SCOPE_MACRO_02"

After those steps, you can see the fixes I was able to make, and you'll be able to enjoy your mod being fixed once in for all! :)
Edit: My apologies, do not put the Default value as "true" for both attachments, instead simply place the following attachments on 3. and 4. on top of the first one. Make sure to keep the default value "false" though.
Edit 2: Ignore the first edit as it is obsolete, just follow the guide on how to fix the broken attachments.
Edit 3: I was able to get this working, but if the attachments appear the default, remove the "scope" and "flashlight" attachments in the gun shop, and everything will be working. If you don't like that, then you could just spawn the attachments by a trainer to the carbine rifle.
@TheRaf3D1 I know you've put this in the past, but is there anything that can be done about the white lines on the rifle? I know it's related to the shaders, but I've altered my settings and they still show up. Is any of it tied to the model's ytd?
@N. Man It's a metarial bug on the rifle that i never managed to get rid of, i have no idea of what causes it.
If I were to replace the vanilla Carbine, do I still need Zolika at all? Just want to clarify, lest I find a way to break my game.

Also sorry for everyone having problems with this mod, i have dropped the ball in making weapons since every single useless update broke all the scripts i relied on for addon weapons compatibility, outside for a few mods, consider me retired
